Down Quarks

Up-quarks and down-quarks are represented by these white and black icons.down quarks represent black visual sensations.  The ordinary sort of down-quark represents a black sensation that is perceived on the right side. On the other hand, down anti-quarks are objectified from black sensations experienced on the left.  So these quarks are defined by two different kinds of experience, visual sensation and somatic sensation.

Different experiences are described by comparison with various reference sensations. Since antiquity these reference sensations have been objectified as seedsblack sensations are objectified as down-seeds.  They are symbolized using a capital Roman letter D without serifs.  Somatic sensations felt on the right or left sides are objectified as ordinary or odd seeds.  They are noted by O or \overline{ \mathsf{O} }down quarks can be defined from pairs of seeds because they represent pairs of sensations. The matchmaking is formally stated as follows. A seed-aggregate composed from one down-seed and one ordinary-seed is called an ordinary down quark. It is represented symbolically using the lowercase Roman letter d without serifs. Here is a mathematical expression of the definition along with some icons to illustrate the quark.

{\mathsf{d}}  \equiv \left\{   {\mathsf{ D, O }}  \right\}

The down anti-quark is defined as the union of one down-seed with an odd-seed.

\overline{\mathsf{d}}  \equiv \left\{   {\mathsf{ D, \overline{O} }}  \right\}
