Top Quarks

Top quarks are represented by this mash-up of icons for dangerous thermal sensations and somatic sensations.

Top quarks represent burning thermal sensations . The ordinary sort of top-quark represents a burning sensation that is perceived on the right side. Conversely, top anti-quarks are objectified from burning sensations experienced on the left.  So these quarks are defined by two different kinds of experience; thermal sensation and somatic sensation.

Definitions of Top Quarks

Different experiences are described by comparison with various reference sensations. Since antiquity these reference sensations have been objectified as seeds.  Burning sensations are objectified as top-seeds.  They are symbolized using a capital Roman letter T without serifs.  Somatic sensations felt on the right or left sides are objectified as ordinary or odd seeds.  They are noted by \mathsf{O} or \overline{\mathsf{O}}.  Top quarks can be defined from pairs of seeds because they represent pairs of sensations.

The matchmaking is formally stated as follows.  A seed-aggregate composed from one top-seed and one ordinary-seed is called an ordinary top quark. It is represented symbolically using the bold lowercase Roman letter t without serifs. Here is a mathematical expression of the definition along with some icons to illustrate the quark. You can click on icons to go to a page with more detail.

\mathsf{t} \equiv \left\{ \rule{0px}{10px} \mathsf{ T, \, O } \right\}

The top anti-quark is defined as the union of one top-seed with an odd-seed.

\overline{\mathsf{t}} \equiv \left\{ \rule{0px}{10px} \mathsf{ T, \, \overline{O} } \right\}

Characteristics of Top Quarks

The foregoing quarks may be described by their quantum numbers. They also have some specific individual traits like temperature and energy. Follow the links for a full explanation, but ultimately these secondary attributes are determined by the same sensations that define each quark. Here is a quick summary.
